    I became aware of the Acid/Alkaline Diet in the mid-nineties, and have used it ever since, but not consistently. Right now, I feel like I’ve lost my way a bit, so I wanted Emma’s program to help get me back on the horse.

    I completely concur with what Emma said on her original presentation, but I use the program for optimum health, not weight loss — which means I’m on it regardless of how much I weigh. I want nothing more than lifelong excellent health.

    Don’t be hard on yourself; just do the best you can as often as you can, and get right back up if you fall down.

    Recently, I was tested and was told my body was ten years younger than my chronological age! I KNOW it’s because of the Acid/Alkaline Diet.

    Emma was right: no doctor will give you this information (all they know how to do is write prescriptions).

    Thank your lucky stars you found this when you did; it’s lifesaving on so many levels.

    Have another quick question. I live about an hour from South Padre Island (Gulf of Mexico) and purchase fresh caught shrimp at least once a week. Calories,fat etc. or
    and bad stuff in the shrimp almost non existent (Steamed or grilled – no flour, oil etc. (On Gluten Free diet) and eaten fresh – no oil, no junk ) Sometimes dip in Horseradish with a touch of ketchup – Other reading on line states the shrimp is good for you but I can’t find anything in your information that talks about shrimp. Only thing I found you referenced was mackerel and salmon. How about fresh caught trout, red fish, flounder, tuna,. And specifically shrimp – where does it fit in your diet. I am going to eat it (Usually 10-12 large steamed at a time – 100 calories) but just need to see what it can replace on your menu. Appreciate your input

    Just started reading your info. Impressive. I have a skin rash & horrible itch & breakouts for 3 years ( Been to 5 dermatologist – none have helped) . Been taking Prednisone for rash but slowly stopping. Found a new great Doctor (Internal Medicine) that has put me on a Gluten Free Diet and making sure I am adding Alkaline balance foods and PH tests (Your information just expands what he wants for me.) He feels the gluten can be part of itch and rash cause. .Other future problem may be inability to exercise . I have bad lungs with COPD and am on Oxygen machine and many medications. No energy or capabilities to exercise – Any suggestions – Am going to try to do water aerobics again. Did regularly a couple of years ago. Goal is to get rid of fat ” moon face ” and fat problems caused by prednisone and bad eating habits combo. At 210# now and would like to get back down to 165# or170#. Any specific recommendations will be appreciated.

    today I had 2 slices of cinnamon raisin sprouted bread toasted and I use Earth Balance spread for the butter. I had a cup of herb tea, 16 oz of Purified water and i am also now incorporating the MOTHER’S apple cider vinegar. from Braggs.
    For lunch I have a green leaf salad and will add other fresh veggies, fruits and nuts to it with a squeezed lemon and pepper and other spices for taste. i will have 10 sprouted black bean chips (BEANITOS).
    Then for my snack I have an organic apple and banana. A ginger -lemon peel herbal water purchased from AYALA’s water. http://www.herbalwater.com.
    then another handful of the herbal supplements and enzymes.
    we are all learning patience and discipline. Thanks again Emma for this program to help us all recover into a healthier us.

    lost 10 lbs since 4-29. can,t eat too much fruit, won,t lose any weight , also only have grain 3 x,s weekly. havn,t had meat since i began, and i,m ok with it, need a good salad dressing made with lemon, no vinegar, i do use oil flax and olive. don,t believe fat makes you fat. i have given up butter, have 1 cup of coffee with stevia coffee mate. i drink water with lemon or lime started exercising today. i feel good

    Had a small salad, but did add a bit of macaroni. Still have not had coffee, been almost a week. I used to have “coffee with my cream and sugar.”, ie, more cream and sugar than coffee, lol. This one step I think is going to make a big difference in the long run. Did have a Mexican sweet roll, but ate only half. Guess it’s progress. Can’t quit everything in a day! No difference on the scale yet, but clothes are looser! Yay! Taking the stairs at work more often, and I work on the third floor.

    I just returned from lunch and feeling great. No grogginess, sluggishness or feeling like I need a nap! I had a mixed green salad with sliced carrots, hint of vinegar and oil. Drinking water separately and not with meals is different, but I could actually taste the vegetables better. Had a natural smoothie an hour before my lunch. So am trying to separate my food and drinks. It’s a process. My first full day, and I did not have coffee this morning. Thought I would have a caffeine headache, but it never happened. Yay. Will see how things continue.

    Please advise all that on page 55. Error. Milk is classified as raw or processed. Raw milk in neither pasteurized nor homogenized. Pasteurization is the heating process to eliminate harmful bacteria. Homogenization is the physical process of pumping milk and blending the fat molecules into smaller molecules, hence homogenized. That process is a problem. Most of us today would have digestive problems with raw milk, however if you can find whole milk that is not homogenized that can be a good solution.

    I keep checking in each week for my 4th week update and haven’t seen it yet.
    Thank you so much for all you have given me. My Naturopath told me that I needed to eat a more alkaline diet as my body was too acidic. So I searched on line for help and felt that your course was the best for me. The recipe book has been wonderful. I love the recipes. The side effect is that I have so far lost 55lbs. I feel healthier, look better and I’m still losing without even trying too. I’ve been without sugar, wheat products and dairy products for 6 months now and have no desire for them anymore. Thanksgiving for us is a sugar binge and I wasn’t even tempted. Wish I’d known this years ago as I have yoyo’d on so many diets. My PH balance has improved but I’m not there yet. Thank You again.

    Finally! Life leads people in many directions and I already knew the principles and had applied them but kept slipping back into the modern system diet because my viewpoint was still from the improper side. This puts it all together so I can more easily adapt to a proper diet and encourage others to do the same. 🙂
